Two young men climb in an 8 to 10 meter-high cave of Stoja on August 4, 2014 near Pula, Croatia. Deep Water Soloing (DWS), free climbing over water, is a relatively new discipline and is popular with climbers wanting to go rock climbing during the high summer temperatures. Climbing over deep water means most of the climbing routes are safe for beginners but still offer a challenge for the more advanced climber. There are many opportunities for DWS at the mile-long cliffs of Croatia.
